The Intervention Methods Group supports researchers seeking to develop new or adapt existing evidence-based interventions on all populations and settings, including through the use of qualitative research methods such as focus groups and in-depth interviews. This group also supports researchers seeking to plan for the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based interventions.

• Intervention Development and/or Adaptation
• Implementation Mapping: A process for developing strategies to improve the adoption, implementation, and maintenance of evidence-based interventions in real-world settings.
• Process Evaluation: Any combination of measurements obtained during an intervention to assess the quality of performance or delivery of the intervention
• Formative Research Methods such as Focus Groups and In-Depth Interviews: Information gathering that comes before structured data collection and implementation of interventions, used to maximize the utility, feasibility, and relevance of an intervention to the target populations and target setting
• Mixed Methods Approaches: Collecting, analyzing, and mixing both quantitative and qualitative research and methods in a single study to understand a research problem.
• RAPID Qualitative Analysis: An intensive, team-based, data analysis approach to quickly develop a preliminary understanding of qualitative data.
